Bon Voyage - Legacy Genealogy Cruise begins
September 02, 2009
Tomorrow we leave to begin our 6th annual Legacy Genealogy Cruise, this year to the Mediterranean. We'll visit Barcelona, Rome, Naples/Pompeii, Dubrovnik, Venice, Athens, Ephesus, and Istanbul. We've also got twelve fantastic hours of personal Legacy instruction from the Legacy developers.
You, too, can join us on this year's cruise - "virtually" that is. We're trying something new - we're going to try to publish daily updates of our trip to this blog. It will almost be like you're there with us! You can also see our ship, the Norwegian Jade, live via Norwegian Cruise Line's web cam. Click here for the web cam.
Our sincere thanks go out to our entire technical support, sales, and conference staff who will continue to provide sales and support services while we are gone. Thanks Jim, Sherry, Brian, Ron, Sarah, Leonard, Haybron and Christine for keeping us going!
We'll either see you here or on the ship!
Bon Voyage. Have a great trip, maybe next year I will be able to join you. Cheers, Al.

Great to see this on Legacy Genealogy. I can't travel, so to be able to see from my home, what you will all see, is great. Only one thing though. I tried to view the webcam but there was no picture. Can you please tell me if there is a problem at your end?
Bon Voyage to all
Carol

Sounds great - I would love to join you some day but, as I am subject to motion sickness, that isn't going to happen. Do you ever conferences that are not on a ship? I would be very interested in attending one.

What a wonderful idea. Will be looking forward to it.

Would love to go with you all, since my family came from Torre di Ruggiero, Cantanzaro, Calabria, Italy (but they all left Italy from port of Naples), but am not able to do so right now. I wish you all good fortune on your research, and hope that you all find great historical records that will allow you to follow your family trees to their roots. Bon voyage!

It was a great idea to telleverybody about your Genealogy Criuse to the Mediterrenean and look att the pictures of the fantastic places you visited, I just feel sad that I was not able to join you. However I would be grateful if you again would publish some of the lessons so I could listen to them and learn something new about Legacy.
