Okay, okay, I am convinced!

No, seriously!

I've been the Family Roots Digger-upper for 20 years, but still consider myself a novice.

Like many people with limited time, and resources, even with a computer at my finger tips, I have only been able to accomplish so much, and that ain't much. ;-D

Like many my 1st program was Family Tree Maker, but my version is 3 years old, and I was never able to enter all my info in the system.

Most of info is still in file folders.

After a 3 year absense from the hunt, a time during which I created a Genealogy side to my blogging, complete with a growing list of genealogy resources, in the sidebar, not just for my benefit, but that of any who stumble across the list, and in which I write about the adventure that is my research, and discoveries (with photos!), I am ready to resume the hunt.

So I went in search of the better, easier to understand, feature rich, program, circa 2008, to replace my ancient FTM. ;-D

I've been reading reviews, and the sections of your website describibg what's in the new deluxe 7, and checked out your comparison chart to other programs.

THAT last impressed me a lot.

It showed your confidence in your product that you would willingly help potential buyers comparison shop.

I am going to spend the morning watching the tour videos, but am already well on my way to committing, for 3 reasons:

The Sourcing aspect & the To Do Aspect, plus the Research Help aspect.

Being a 1st gen. American, my Father's side is all European, and I've rarely touched it, and on my American Mother's side the mysteries are so many that I'm stuck in the the period from 1890 to 1920, hee, hee. ;-D

Anyway, I just thought I'd share my thoughts with you.

I will also soon be adding your Blog to the list of resources in my sidebar.

Okay, the deed is done, hee, hee! ;-D

The tour video, the beginers video, and the seperate tour pages/images sections showed me a lot, and impressed me greatly.

As I said, even after 20, intermittent, years, I still consider myself a novice, and what I've seen here shows me that your program will go a long way toward helping me gradually grow, and learn.

I've ordered the Delux Bundle for the new version 7, are ya happy?

Hee, hee! ;-D

Happy hunting! ;-D

I have been doing family tree searching for about 16 years now, but the program I was using was way to outdated. I wanted to find a new program and tried the free version of Legacy 7. WOW!!!!
I am totally impressed with every aspect of this software!!!
I am definitely a convert ;-)

Keep up the great work!
